Description
Keep learning going as school ends in mid June. We mix short, medium, and long term goals so students stay engaged with our exciting materials. These resources have been published across dozens of edMe Learning resources that families and our tutors use. We curate the experience for your student by matching interests and curiosities with readings and challenges. We send digital or print materials that cover:
- 4 weekly math practices (skills refreshers)
- 5 readings matching interests & theme
- Weekly re-recycle project using recyclables
- Weekly project that scaffolds project (mostly creating videos like YouTubers)
- Monthly Project
Specifically, in June we will focus on:
- June 15-19: Job Exploration & Let’s Get Rich (investments, savings)
- June 22-26: Let’s Work at the Beach (maritime careers)
- June 29-30: Project Wrap-up, Budgets, & Celebration
