PORTIA<\/td>\nI prithee, boy, run to the senate–house;<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nStay not to answer me, but get thee gone:<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nWhy dost thou stay?<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
LUCIUS<\/td>\nTo know my errand, madam.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nI would have had thee there, and here again,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nEre I can tell thee what thou shouldst do there.<\/p>\n5<\/tr>\n

<\/td>\nI heard a bustling rumour, like a fray,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nAnd the wind brings it from the Capitol.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
LUCIUS<\/td>\nSooth, madam, I hear nothing.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/i><\/td>\nEnter the Soothsayer.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nCome hither, fellow: which way hast thou been?<\/p>\n20<\/tr>\n
Soothsayer<\/td>\nAt mine own house, good lady.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nWhat is't o'clock?<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
Soothsayer<\/td>\nAbout the ninth hour, lady.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nIs Caesar yet gone to the Capitol?<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
Soothsayer<\/td>\nMadam, not yet: I go to take my stand,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nTo see him pass on to the Capitol.<\/p>\n25<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nThou hast some suit to Caesar, hast thou not?<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
Soothsayer<\/td>\nThat I have, lady: if it will please Caesar<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nTo be so good to Caesar as to hear me,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nI shall beseech him to befriend himself.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nWhy, know'st thou any harm's intended towards him?<\/p>\n30<\/tr>\n
Soothsayer<\/td>\nNone that I know will be, much that I fear may chance.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nGood morrow to you. Here the street is narrow:<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nThe throng that follows Caesar at the heels,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nOf senators, of praetors, common suitors,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nWill crowd a feeble man almost to death:<\/p>\n35<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nI'll get me to a place more void, and there<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nSpeak to great Caesar as he comes along.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/i><\/td>\nExit<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
PORTIA<\/td>\nI must go in. Ay me, how weak a thing<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nThe heart of woman is! O Brutus,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nThe heavens speed thee in thine enterprise!<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nSure, the boy heard me: Brutus hath a suit<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nThat Caesar will not grant. O, I grow faint.<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nRun, Lucius, and commend me to my lord;<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\nSay I am merry: come to me again,<\/p>\n<\/tr>\n
