You don’t have to let the fun end! Dive deeply into this series by creating your own museum of artifacts. Think about all the special lockets, wands, swords, etc. that were critical to this story. They must be shared!

For each artifact in your museum, create the artifact so it looks like the book’s description.

Write down 1-2 quotes that you used to determine what it looked like.

Then, write a description for the object that includes 3 facts or events from the series.

One plot used in many movies, is an elaborate plan that is executed with some problems. For example, some people may plan to rob a bank, and then when they do it their plan falls apart because something happened they did not consider.

Use a graphic organizer like this one to describe Harry, Hermione, and Ron’s plan to steal Umbridge’s locket. You will have many more than three steps, but this picture has a good structure to get you started.

When you read through the chapter figure out what goes wrong, and then show how the actual plan was different than the plan they imagined.

It’s important to understand arguments you disagree with. If you understand how they make their argument, then you know how to make a good counter argument.

For this project, you are going to make the argument from Voldemort’s perspective. Write 1 paragraph that describes why muggle blood is a weakness using Voldemort’s thinking.

Then, write a second essay that proves each point Voldemort makes is incorrect.
