Good Practice

Beware. As in "Beware of a young team sometimes they get better quick." The word is beware.

Compare. As in "You can compare team's turnovers and usually know who won the game." The word is compare.

Affair. As in "A holiday basketball tournament can be an interesting affair." The word is affair.

Square. As in "Some basketball teams pack their defense into a square zone." The word is square.

Scare. As in "The last second shot put a scare into the home fans." The word is scare.

Transparent. As in "The coach always let her players know what she thinks; she is transparent." The word is transparent.
