Who Gets the Stone?

Many characters are interested in the Sorcerer’s Stone. Take one character’s point of view and write an argument about why they should have the Sorcerer’s Stone. Be sure to cite two events or quotes in your paragraph.

Then, write a second paragraph from another character’s point of view. Make the argument that explains why this character wants the Sorcerer’s Stone. What would they do with it? Why is it better that this character has it?

After you write your paragraphs, edit them so it is easy for someone else to read. We suggest reading each paragraph out loud so you can hear how it sounds. Then, you can make it sound even better!
