Especially with combat craft, naval engineers take time to plan and think. You wouldn’t want to install a machine gun that could shoot your own ship!
This mission is fun, but don’t forget all your engineerings skills. Designing the best ship is the key to climbing the leaderboard.
Build a boat that earns over 1,600 points in the Heavy Seas Operation.
This weather is rough! You will need to explore some communication options while staying under budget. These “Comms” use radar to find the “UAVs”. UAV stands for Underwater Autonomous Vehicles. “Autonomous” means it runs by itself.
Remember to use the tests to quickly compare your ship’s speed and maneuverability.

Build a boat that performs well in the Search & Logistics mission.
This ship will be larger and cover thousands more miles than anything you built before! What parts of your design can you change to make this huge ship go fast? Maneuver well? What tests can you do to master this mission with your new ship? What are your goal for those tests? Are you using the money wisely? You have to pay for a lot of cargo, but still need to maximize your budget.

Final test! Keep creating plans to design your ships. You are going to have to think hard to find ways to build a FLEET ship that is quick at rescuing 2 people. (If you are having problems downloading FLEET, please let them know by emailing fleet@navalengineers.org.

There are many options for rescuing people. You can use a boat or two! There are helicopters, and you can even rescue them using your big ship. What additions will help you be successful? How does your ship’s weight affect your final times?
