This is the last time you can earn a Planning Badge, but please don’t let that stop you from making more changes!! Keep thinking of ways to make your ship fast. When we get to the Search & Rescue mission, you will want to quickly get to the shipwreck to help those sailors!

How fast is your boat now? What was your total time? Did you make a change that made it faster? Can you make more changes like that? What else can you change to improve the speed?

We may share your boat picture with other people if we think that they can learn from your process or your design. Your boat may be famous!!

Engineers use data to improve designs while they test. Upload a picture of the data you just collected from your first test.

Now you have great data! Some data you found may not be numeric. It may be how the boat felt when it was starting. Or, how the waves pushed the boat. You could also see the speed of the boat at different points.

All of this data is important!
