Event. As in "The Olympics will be a big event next year" The word is event.

Request. As in "I request tickets to attend the Olympics. " The word is request.

Pretend. As in "I could pretend I will go, but the Olympics will be far away in Tokyo." The word is pretend.

Regress. As in "Russia will win less medals. They will regress." The word is regress.

Refresh. As in "The U.S. swim team will refresh because of all the new swimmers." The word is refresh.

Subject. As in "The Olympics will be the subject of most news next summer." The word is subject.
